DMARC Record Checker

Read the email authentication policy published for a domain and understand its instructions.

Enter the domain used in the visible From address of an email.

Enter a value above to start. No account needed.

How this check works

We inspect TXT records at _dmarc followed by your domain, check the version and policy tags, and show reporting destinations when present.

What this check does not prove

This is an exact-domain configuration check, not a full DMARC policy-discovery or message-alignment test. A subdomain without its own record may inherit policy from an ancestor. External report destination authorisation is not checked.

Does p=none block spoofed email?

No. It requests monitoring rather than DMARC-based quarantine or rejection. Receivers still apply their own filtering rules.

Does having DMARC mean every message passes?

No. A message needs a passing SPF or DKIM result aligned with its From domain. The DNS policy alone cannot demonstrate that alignment.
